Hey blanchetters!
Covid-19 is imposing difficult times and losses for everybody in a global scale. However, for those who were already living in vulnerability before this, things can be even more terrifying. That’s the case of many refugees around the world.
Last month, Cate Blanchett joined UNHCR chief Filippo Grandi and other UNHCR goodwill ambassadors to discuss work during the Covid-19 crisis.
Thank you to our committed UNHCR Goodwill Ambassadors and high profile supporters around the world – including former refugees – for joining me via Zoom to discuss our work during the COVID-19 pandemic.

More recently, Cate, Ben Stiller and Khaled Hosseini got together in a video about 3 ways businesses can support refugees during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since 1950, UNHCR, the UN refugee agency, works to protect and assist refugees fleeing war and persecution. Their actions are vital to provide these people with basic conditions to survive and rebuilt their lives.
Not only businesses can contribute to help refugees, people can donate through the UNHCR website, the sidebar photo on our site has link as well and So it goes magazine is also selling digital issues in exchange for donations.
Starting today, we will be releasing all our print issues over the last 7 years as digital downloads. All you need to do is submit a minimum donation of $1 and we’ll send you the issue. All donations will go to the @UNRefugeeAgency – donate/download: https://t.co/5PYpwqhpEb pic.twitter.com/PQN5T5o6X7
