Cate Blanchett’s lead performance in TÁR has been awarded the Best Actress Award by the following film critics groups: Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association, Indiana Film Journalists Association (Best Screenplay and Best Director for Todd Field), Philadelphia Film Critics Circle, Boston Online Film Critics Association, and Phoenix Critics Circle while she received nominations at the Online Association of Female Film Critics, North Texas Film Critics Association, AARP’s Movies for Grownups Awards, Hollywood Critics Association Awards, and 12th International Australian Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards.
Cate and Todd Field spoke to BBC News during the recording of TÁR concept album at Abbey Road Studios which you can watch below. On January 13th, Cate will be a guest at The Graham Norton Show. According to Cornucopia Events and Premiere Scene a UK premiere for TÁR is confirmed on January 11th, Wednesday, at Picturehouse Central, London which will be attended by Cate, Todd Field, Nina Hoss, and Sophie Kauer.
