Cate Blanchett and Coco Francini participated in Women in Motion Talk by Variety and Kering. They discussed about their production company, Dirty Films. They currently have 15 films in development, a film that will go into production this fall that stars Emma Corrin, three films releasing this fall — Shayda which was directed by Noora Niasari and premiered at Sundance Film Festival this year, The New Boy by Warwick Thornton which just premiered at Cannes Film Festival, and Fingernails by Christos Nikou. They also discussed their role in supporting female storytelling in film and television.
There was an after party for The New Boy which was supported by Armani Beauty. Cate also attended Variety x Golden Globes event to present Breakthrough Artist Award to actor, Zar Amir-Ebrahimi.
